Registration for this schedule starts on 01/01/2025 and ends on 08/10/2025
Participants must be 13 years and 11 months to 120 years old when the program starts.
Learn the basics of audio engineering! During this week-long camp, students will learn the foundations of audio engineering, including the basics of an audio interface and how to set up a DAW (digital audio workstation - Pro Tools) for recording and mixing tracks. Students will learn basic microphone techniques, signal flow in a mixing console (digital and analog), what a compressor is, equalizer (real and plug ins) and microphone preamp and how to use them. You’ll also learn about aux sends, inserts, reverb, delay techniques, as well as how to mic a full band and more! Some basic knowledge of recording and digital audio workstation (such as Ableton, Pro Tools, Garage Band, Logic Pro, etc) is preferred. Ages 14+
